Bible Based & Jesus Centered

At the very heart of Gospel Grace Church is the ministry of the Word. While we don't worship the Bible, we do worship the God who has made Himself known in and through the Bible. The Bible does far more than merely record and describe the acts of God in times past. It reveals God and God reveals Himself in it. 

At Gospel Grace Church we believe that the Bible truly reveals the nature of God, of the world and of mankind. We believe that the truths found in the Bible are timeless because God is timeless. The Bible tells the story of the God who created the world, the story of humanity in their rebellion against and exile from God and the story of how God is redeeming and restoring humanity along with all creation in and through Jesus Christ. 

At Gospel Grace Church we are centered on Jesus because the Bible is centered on Jesus. From the opening pages of Genesis through the final words in Revelation, the bible is one unified story that leads us to Jesus.

At Gospel Grace Church everything we do is based on the Word of God ... and the Word of God calls us to live out our faith as followers of Jesus. Faithfulness to the Bible means faithfulness to God and faithfulness to God means lives lived as ambassadors for Jesus in and for our community. 

Gospel Grace Church is a church plant of Embassy Church in Palatine. Embassy Church was planted in 2014 in the NW suburbs of Chicago and is committed to planting biblically faithful churches in the greater Chicagoland area.

Gospel Grace Church has acquired use of the building located at 1903 N. Seminary Ave here in Woodstock. This building has been a fixture on N. Seminary Ave for decades and we are thankful for the opportunity to begin a fresh new work in a building that has been a part of the Woodstock landscape long before we arrived.
